Passport Endorsements

 

Applicant must pick up a passport application at the post office or print it off on line at www.pptc.gc.ca and follow instructions. 

Applicant must get two photos taken. 

Applicant must fill out the application and take the completed application with the two photos to a guarantor. A guarantor must be a Canadian citizen 18 years of age or older; hold a five-year Canadian passport that is valid or has been expired for no more than one year; have been 16 years of age or older when they applied for their own passport; and have known the applicant personally for at least two years. 

Applicant must know a police officer for at least 2 years before he/she can sign an application. 

Applicant should call police before attending the office to make sure the officer he/she wants is on duty.
