If you are a resident of the Town of Perth and are required to be fingerprinted for employment purposes, please call the Perth Police Service at 613-267-3131 and make an appointment.
Some employers will supply you with a fingerprint form; however, if your employer does not supply you with a fingerprint form you can obtain one from the Perth Police Service. You will need to fill out the required information requested and have the police sign and stamp the form once completed.
When attending the Perth Police Service you must bring with you a picture identification card like your drivers licence, passport or outdoors card. It cannot be your health card. Health cards cannot be accepted for identification purposes (Health Cards and Numbers Control Act, 1991 section 2.2(1)).
The fee for this service is $20.00.
Once fingerprinted by police you must send your fingerprints to: The Royal Canadian Mounted Police, Identification Services, P.O. Box 8885, Ottawa, Ontario K1G 3M8
Your fingerprints must be accompanied by a certified cheque or money order in the amount of $25.00 payable to the Receiver General of Canada.
The results of the R.C.M.P. search will be mailed directly to you.
